How to monitor Raydium CLMM price ranges
By Jan Hindemit, Rangeview operator · Reviewed
Rangeview compares each Raydium CLMM position’s current pool price with its lower and upper price boundaries. It shows range status and can alert you when the position leaves or re-enters its range.
What does in range mean?
A concentrated liquidity position supplies liquidity within a chosen price range. When the pool price moves outside that range, the position is out of range and does not earn trading fees until the price returns. Rangeview displays the current price and both boundaries for each supported position.
Rangeview supports Raydium CLMM positions on Solana Mainnet. A position’s range status describes its current relationship to the pool price; it is not a prediction of returns or an instruction to rebalance.
How to check a position in Rangeview
Open the dashboard and connect a compatible Solana wallet or enter a public wallet address manually. Review the price, lower boundary, upper boundary and range status. Positions in the same pool remain separate positions.
Choose the monitoring interval in Settings. Price and range checks default to five minutes and can be configured from ten seconds to once a day. Lightweight status checks do not recalculate fees, history or profit / loss. Changes to positions or liquidity trigger a detail refresh.
What do range alerts actually monitor?
Local alarms can report a range exit, a return to range, or continued out-of-range status after another price check. A dialog and optional sound run in the open tab; system notifications need browser permission. Acknowledging an alarm stops the current alert while monitoring continues.
Keep the Rangeview tab open for local monitoring. Browsers may throttle background timers or block audio. Closing the tab stops local checks. Separately configured server-side Web Push is an optional delivery path, with its own server, permission and browser requirements; local intervals do not establish a server monitoring schedule.
Confirmed on-chain liquidity of zero marks a closed position and disables its alarms. A displayed USD value of zero or a temporarily missing position does not establish closure.
How fresh is the displayed data?
Rangeview periodically requests data; it does not stream live prices. The dashboard distinguishes the latest successful detail update from the latest price and range check. Failed checks preserve previous values and timestamps.
The initial load includes all positions when there is no usable cache. Later automatic five-minute and manual general refreshes update active positions and newly detected closures. Previously closed positions retain their saved data; use Refresh position to reload one explicitly.
Sources and method
This guide describes Rangeview’s implementation. The data sources page explains which sources the application uses. The underlying protocol is documented in Raydium’s CLMM program and SDK.
Values are estimates for informational purposes, not investment advice. Verify figures at their source before making decisions. Rangeview is an independent application and is not an official Raydium product.
